BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Isabelle Wright (Sr., Murray, Utah/Murray) of the University of Utah contributed two goals, three assists and eight steals while helping to shutdown the opposing team’s best scorer during a 4-0 weekend for the Utes as home in the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center in Kearns, Utah. For her performance, Wright receives laurels as the February 12 Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Player of the Week.
Appearing in three games – with the the fourth a forfeit – she aided the Utah “A” team in topping the Colorado School of Mines (15-2 W), the University of Colorado (9-5 W) and Utah Tech University (15-0 W) prior to the Utes nothing a 5-0 defeat of the United States Air Force Academy.
Outside of the water, she operated the scorer’s table when not competing, recruited volunteers to aid in event management, organized raffles and baked food for the snack bar operated during the weekend.
