BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Caroline O’Keefe (Jr., Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) and Emma Chin Lee (Fr., Trinidad and Tobago/St. Joseph’s Convent) of the University of Virginia combined for 16 goals, three assists, 16 steals and a field block during a 4-0 weekend for the Cavaliers to share status as the February 18 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
Competing at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University’s War Memorial Hall in Blacksburg, Va., on Saturday-Sunday February 16-17, during the opening weekend of Atlantic Division competition. O’Keefe tallied eight goals, nine steals and a field block, while Lee posted eight goals, three assists and seven steals during her Atlantic Division debut.
The duo helped Virginia deal defeats to the host Hokies (6-5 W), James Madison University (10-2 W), Georgetown University (19-5 W) and the University of North Carolina (19-4 W).
