BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emma Radcliffe (Jr., Elmhurst, Ill./York Community) and Carolyn Pitorak (So., Reading, Pa./Wilson) of the University of Virginia helped their team open the 2022 women’s collegiate club season with a 4-0 record in league action to claim status as the February 14 Atlantic Division co-Players of the Week.

Competing at the University of Maryland on February 12-13, Radcliffe turned aside 38 shots over 112 minutes of play as Virginia topped Georgetown University (15-5 W), the University of North Carolina (19-5 W), James Madison University (18-0 W) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) (8-6 W).

On the other end of the tank, Pitorak netted 15 goals, six assists, five steals and a field block as Virginia claimed the early season lead in the Atlantic Division standings.
