BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Katie Pajewski (Sr., Charlottesvile, Va./Albemarle) and Nicole Giblin (Fr., Palm Beach, Fla./Suncoast) of the University of Virginia combined for five goals and three two steals in a pair of games to lead their team to the division championship and share honors as the April 15 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
Pajewski posted three goals and two steals to accompany two goals, two assists and a steal by Giblin as Virginia downed James Madison University (12-3 W) and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech, 7-6 W) to capture the Atlantic Division crown. Against Virginia Tech, Pajewski netted the tying goal as Virginia rallied back to defeat the Hokies in the title tilt.
