BRIDGEPORT, Pa — Will Palmer (Jr., Mill Valley, Calif./Tamalpais) of the University of Virginia scored 18 goals in the span of three games at Villanova University to earn status as the October 2 Men’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
He opened the weekend on the Main Line outside Philadelphia by helping Virginia take down Division III No. 3-ranked New York University (24-11 W) and the host/No. 10 Wildcats (13-11 W) on Saturday, September 30. On Sunday, October 1, he opened by the new month by assisting Virginia in topping Greater Philadelphia by a 15-14 score in overtime.
