BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has supplied updates for the Winter 2021 NCAA Men’s Water Polo Championship.

  • Due to a variety of COVID-19 related reasons, Stanford University recently informed the NCAA that they would no longer be able to host the postponed 2020 National Collegiate Men’s Water Polo Championship. This championship will now take place on March 20-21 on the campus of University of Southern California. The national championship semifinals will be conducted on March 20, and the national championship game will be played on March 21. The two opening round games will also be played March 18, on the campus of the University of Southern California. Selections for this postponed championship will occur on March 7
  • The game times for the national semifinals and the championship game have been finalized. The semifinals on March 20 will take place at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern time and the national championship game on March 21 will take place at 5 p.m. Eastern time.
  • There will not be any fans permitted at the postponed 2020 National Collegiate Men’s Water Polo Championship.  However, the NCAA intends to stream the semifinals and final on NCAA.com
