GROVE CITY, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team took a 19-3 loss to the Virginia Military Institute to kick off a three-game weekend at Grove City College.
Samantha Darrell (Perkasie, Pa,/Pennridge) collected two goals on the night, while Kayla Scarpaci (Cypress, Texas/Langham Creek) netted the third tally for Behrend.
VMI grabbed the program’s first win on the season after starting the year 0-7.
