BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Anna Goodman (Sr., Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) of No. 20-ranked Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) contributed three goals, 16 assists, 15 steals, two drawn ejections and four field blocks with seven sprint victories at home during a 4-0 weekend to help the Hokies complete the Atlantic Division regular season with an 8-0 record.  For her performance, she is named the March 3 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Player of the Week.

In her second year as team captain at Virginia Tech, Goodman helped the Hokies handle the University of North Carolina (21-10 W), the University of Tennessee (18-15 W), the United States Naval Academy (19-9 W) and the University of Virginia (13-7 W) at home in Blacksburg, Va., on Saturday-Sunday, March 1-2, to cap off a perfect mark in division competition.

Due to its record, Virginia Tech claims the No. 1 seed for the 11-game Atlantic Division Championship slated for Saturday-Sunday, March 29-30, at Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
