BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Claire Turner (Fr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) racked up 17 goals, six assists, 12 steals and a field block during a 4-0 weekend for the Hokies to earn certification as the February 17 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division tri-Player of the Week.

She shares the honor with Myha Pinto (So., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of the United States Naval Academy and Laura Vetter (Sr., Monterey, Calif./Notre Dame) of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Competing at James Madison University, Turner helped Virginia Tech turn back the University of Tennessee (16-7 W), the United States Naval Academy (18-6 W), Georgetown University (18-5 W) and the University of Virginia (17-8 W) to tie with the University of North Carolina for the early lead in the division standings with perfect 4-0 marks.
