BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Mollie Morin (Jr., Kensington, Md./St. John’s College) contributed 10 goals, nine assists, five steals, five ejection drawn and a field block during a 4-0 weekend for the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) in league competition at the University of Maryland to earn laurels as the April 8 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division co-Player of the Week.

Morin, who shares the Player of the Week award with Hannah Mendenhall (Fr., Annapolis, Md./St. Mary’s) of the United States Naval Academy. shot 10-for-14 on the weekend as Virginia Tech topped the University of Tennessee (11-1 W), Navy (16-7 W), James Madison University (10-6 W) and the host Terrapins (19-6 W) to earn the Atlantic Division regular season crown with a perfect 8-0 record.

Virginia Tech will seek to claim the division’s automatic bid to the 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, on Friday-Sunday, May 3-5, as the Hokies are the No. 1 seed for the Atlantic Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
