BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Viriginia Tech) seeks teams for a men’s Gobbler Spring Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, March 17-18, 2018, at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center in Christiansburg, Va.
The Christiansburg Aquatic Center, located in Christiansburg, Va., is an all deep pool capable of holding two games simultaneously and a warm up pool. A 16-team tournament, each team will be guaranteed four games.
The entry fee will be $500. This cost is mostly to cover the price of renting the Christiansburg facility. It is also going toward the multitude of refs required to run a tournament of this size. Upperclassmen and master’s teams can also enjoy the Blacksburg Downtown area. Furthermore, the Christiansburg Aquatic Center will be getting in touch with local hotels to ensure low hotel rates for the teams making their way to Christiansburg for the tournament.
