BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Mattia Bognolo (Fr., Canberra, Australia/Daramalan College) of Wagner College scored six goals on 14 shot attempts while adding six assists, 10 steals and a field block during a 3-1 weekend for the Seahawks at the Harvard University Invitational.  For his contributions, Bognolo is named the October 18 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Rookie of the Week.

He tallied two goals in a 21-7 defeat of Connecticut College to go along with two assists and four steals in a 15-9 loss to the host/No. 13-ranked Crimson.  He picked up three goals, three assists, four steals, a field block and an exclusion drawn in a 15-8 victory over Division III No. 8 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and notched four goals with four drawn exclusions in a 10-9 win versus Brown University.

For the year, Bognolo has started all 25 games for the Green & White, recording 27 goals on 60 shots. He currently leads the team with 30 steals.
