BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Oliver Fodor (Fr., Budapest, Hungary/Szent István Gimnázium) of Wagner College recorded 17 goals, two assists, two steals, a field block and drew 19 exclusions during a 1-2 league weekend for the Seahawks on the road in Maryland and Washington, D.C., to earn laurels as the November 11 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Rookie of the Week.

He helped Wagner during a 13-12 sudden death overtime win at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., prior to aiding the Seahawks’ cause in a 24-15 loss at No. 18-ranked George Washington University in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, November 9.

However, his best game came at Division III No. 4 Johns Hopkins University on Sunday, November 10, as the first-year fired in 14 goals as Wagner fell to the Blue Jays by a 23-22 count.

The award marks his second Rookie of the Week nod of the season as he previously picked up the award on September 30.
