WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Washington & Jefferson College Department of Athletics hosted its third annual Prezpys Awards during the evening of Tuesday, April 29, inside Salvitti Gymnasium to celebrate the 2024-25 athletic year.
The athletic department introduced 19 award winners. Each award category had at least three student-athletes, coaches, or teams nominated.
Women’s water polo head coach Nikola Malezanov was named the institution’s Coach of the Year for leading the Presidents to a 14-7 record and a runner-up finish at the 2025 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championship hosted at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., on Friday-Sunday, April 11-13.
Emmie Ratcliff (Fr., Friendswood, Texas/Friendswood) garnered women’s Rookie of the Year status for claiming CWPA Rookie of the Year, CWPA Division III All-Conference First, CWPA Division III Championship All-Tournament First Team and CWPA Division III Championship Rookie of the Tournament laurels.
