BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Camille Devaney (Sr., Miami, Fla./Ransom Everglades) and Francesca Bochicchio (Fr., St. Louis, Mo./Ladue) helped Division III No. 1-ranked Washington University in St. Louis to a 3-1 record during the opening weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division competition.  For their combined performances, Devaney and Bochicchio share status as the division’s February 3 Player of the Week.

Competing at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, the duo aided the Bears in defeating Illinois State University (14-4 W), No. 19-Grand Valley State University (8-6 W) and Miami University (Ohio) (18-8 W) to accompany an 11-7 setback against the host/No. 13 Irish.

Competing in her inaugural tournament since returning from studying abroad, Devaney posted a goal, three assists, four steals and 34 saves with a .620 save percentage over the span of 84 minutes.

Bochicchio accounted for seven goals and seven assists with five steals in her first Midwest Division weekend.
