BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lauren Treiman (Gr., Salt Lake City, Utah/West) of Washington University in St. Louis recorded 17 goals, eight assists and 13 steals during a 3-1 weekend to conclude the Midwest Division regular season and earn a share of the group’s April 3 Player of the Week award.

She shares the honor with Emily Shank (Jr., Fullerton, Calif./Rosary) of the University of Notre Dame who posted 15 goals during a 4-0 week for the Irish.

Competing at home in St. Louis, Mo., Treiman helped the Bears top Miami University (16-8 W) and Grand Valley State University (10-8 W) on Saturday, April 1, prior to suffering a 15-2 setback against Notre Dame and notching an 11-5 defeat of Illinois State University on Sunday, April 2.

The 3-1 mark raised Washington’s record to 7-1 during the regular season as the team earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Midwest Division Championship at Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind., on Saturday-Sunday, April 15-16.
