BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Eleni Kokinos (Fr., Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) of Washington University in St. Louis scored three times with four assists and four steals at the University of Notre Dame in a 1-2 weekend for the Bears to clinch the No. 4 position in the final standings of the 2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Championship.  For her efforts, Kokinos earns recognition as the division’s co-Player of the Week.

Competing in their inaugural year of competition in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) women’s collegiate club ranks, Washington fell to eventual division champion Lindenwood University (22-2 L) in the opening round prior to stopping Illinois State University (9-2 W).  In the Third Place game against Grand Valley State University, she helped the Bears hold their own before falling by a 19-3 final score.

Kokinos shares the Player of the Week award with Isabella Boccia (Fr., Laguna Hills, Calif./Laguna Hills) who notched 10 goals, eight assists and nine steals in leading the Lions to the 2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division title.
