IRVINE, Calif. — Westcliff University seeks a women’s water polo head coach. The position reports to the Director of Athletics.
Requirements:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coaching and player development
- Recruitment of student athletes
- Coordinate travel and scheduling
- Develop and monitor program budget
- Monitor student athlete eligibility and academic progress
- Assist with fundraising
- Developing effective and positive communication with the students, faculty, alumni, and community
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics
*REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
- Proven successful Women’s Water Polo coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level (2 years preferred)
- The candidate should possess knowledge of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and women’s water polo sports rules, standards, and regulations and dedication to ongoing education
- Must possess strong administrative and organizational skills
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license
