WORCESTER, Mass. — The club water polo team at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is in immediate need of a coach. The team practices three times a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30-10:00 p.m. Coaches are encouraged to attend practice at least once a week, if not more.
WPI has three weekends of league games that the coach will be required to attend. The team also hosts a round robin invitational tournament in the Spring. Spontaneous invitations to play in other school’s tournaments also occur during the course of the academic year.
Some water polo experience is encouraged but not necessary. Compensation is dependent upon approval from the club sports director based on the applicant’s commitment, experience, etc.
