BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — 13 members of the University of Michigan women’s water polo team are among 232 Wolverines’ student-athletes from 12 different teams to earn recognition on the 2026 Spring Academic All-Big Ten list.
Criteria for making the Academic All-Big Ten team include being in at least their second academic year at their institution and maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The breakdown of Michigan student-athletes on the list is 38 from women’s track and field, 33 from women’s lacrosse, 32 from men’s track and field, 31 from rowing, 28 from men’s lacrosse, 20 from baseball, 14 from softball, 13 from water polo, six apiece from men’s and women’s golf and women’s tennis. and five from men’s tennis.
