BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — 14 members of the Wagner College men’s water polo team earned Fall Academic Honor Roll selections from the Northeast Conference.  In addition, six Seahawks men’s water polo players were also recognized with Commissioner’s Honor Roll status.

James Parker Allen (Fr., Auckland, New Zealand/King’s College), Jordi Alonso (Fr., Barcelona, Spain/Jesuites Sarria-Sant Ignasi), Benjamin Angulo (Fr., La Habra, Calif./Sonora), Andras Bimbo-Szuhai (Fr., Budapest, Hungary/Ady Endre Liceum), Teo Dadic (Jr., Dubrovnik, Croatia/Gimnazija Dubrovnik), James Grady (Jr., Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton), Aaron Leighton (So., Lake Forest, Calif./El Toro), Jack Leighton (Fr., Lake Forest, Calif./El Toro), Tristan O’Connell (So., Boca Raton, Calif./Saint Andrew’s School), Devin O’Donnell (Jr., Pointe-Claire, Quebec/Selwyn), Graham Schmelzer (So., Saratoga, Calif./Saratoga), Michael Ward (So., Grayslake Ill./Mundelein), Cameron Woldt (Jr., San Diego, Calif./Serra) and Kaelin Wolf (Fr., Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) posted Academic Honor Roll honors, while Allen, Alonso, Dadic, O’Donnell, Schmelzer and Wolf also notched Commissioner’s Honor Roll status.

Individuals recognized on the Fall Academic Honor Roll recorded a 3.20 or better grade point average as a total of 765 student-athletes earned recognition.  Further, a total of 241 student-athletes were recognized for recording 3.75 or better grade point averages.

Now in its 37th year, the Northeast Conference is an NCAA Division I collegiate athletic association consisting of 10 institutions of higher learning located throughout six states.
