2022 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announces the cancellation of the 2022 Men’s Collegiate Club New York Division Championship at Wissahickon High School Pool on the weekend of Saturday-Sunday, October 29-30.
On October 20, the league announced cancellation of the New York Division Championship at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., on Saturday-Sunday, October 22-23, due to a facility issue. The United States Military Academy was awarded the division crown and an automatic berth to the 2022 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship at a site in the Northwest Division on Friday-Sunday, November 11-13.
However, due to Cornell’s ability to acquire the Wissahickon High School pool in the suburbs of Philadelphia, the New York Division Championship was rescheduled.
Due to multiple teams being unable to compete during the weekend, the championship at Wissahickon is canceled. A smaller championship tournament potentially at Army is possible for the weekend. Additional information will be released when available following the confirmation of a site and date.
