BRIDGEPORT. Pa. — The 2023 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III All-Conference teams for the East and West Regions will be released on Thursday, April 20.
Voted on by each regions head coaches, the CWPA Division III All-Conference teams honor 12 field athletes and two goalies with the First and Second Teams each accounting for seven athletes (six field, one goalie). Nominations were submitted by the 10 head coaches or another designated official from the East (Connecticut College, Grove City College, Penn State Behrend, Utica University, Washington & Jefferson College) and West (Augustana College, Austin College, Carthage College, Macalester College, Wittenberg University) Region institutions. Voting was conducted among each group’s head coaches with the highest 12 field athletes, the top two goalie selections, a Most Valuable Player, a Rookie of the Year and a Coach of the Year selected in each group.
The 2023 season marks the 13th year of CWPA Division III All-Conference selections dating back to the inaugural honors in 2020. The 2020 season was terminated early and lost to the COVID-19 pandemic.
