BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The 2025 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) and Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) All-Conference Teams will be announced on Thursday, November 20.
The NWPC team is selected by the head coaches based on a slotting formula which awards field players to the First (two First Team, two Second Team, one Honorable Mention), Second (two First Team, two Second Team. one Honorable Mention), Third (one First Team, one Second Team, one Honorable Mention), Fourth (one First Team, one Second Team, one Honorable Mention), Fifth (one Second Team, one Honorable Mention) and Sixth (one Honorable Mention) Place finishes from the conference’s regular season standings. The league’s Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year, along with the goalkeepers, are currently being voted on by the head coaches.
The MAWPC team is selected based on nominations from each head coach with 12 field players, three goalkeepers, an MVP, a Coach of the Year and a Rookie of the Year awarded based on the outcome of a vote. An Honorable Mention team honoring one player from each institution will also be announced. Voting for the MAWPC squad is currently underway.
