Brown University to Stream Five Home Games During Bruno Invitational on February 3-5

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Fans of Brown University will be able to catch all five of the Bears’ home games during the 2017 Bruno Invitational on Friday-Sunday, February 3-5, from the comfort of their home and/or office as the institution will stream its contests against McKendree University, Iona College, Villanova University, Azusa Pacific University and Indiana University through the Ivy Digital Network.

The 22-game tournament features 11 competing teams as the Bears welcome Bucknell University, No. 18-ranked Harvard University, No. 11 Indiana, No. 11 Princeton University, Iona, No. 24 Marist College, No. 21 Wagner College, Villanova, Azusa Pacific and first-year collegiate club program McKendree.

Per National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules, all McKendree games during the weekend are recorded as exhibitions and are not weighed for NCAA Championship At-Large or National Poll (National Top 25, CWPA Top 10) consideration.

The Bears will begin the weekend at 6:00 p.m. local time on Friday, February 3, against the Bearcats of McKendree prior to taking on the Iona Gaels at 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, February 4, the Bears will return to the pool against the Wildcats of Villanova at 1:50 p.m. prior to meeting the Cougars of Azusa Pacific at 6:30 p.m.

Brown will conclude its weekend and the tournament at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, in an exhibition game versus 2016 CWPA Championship runner-up Indiana.  Similar to the games against McKendree, the result of the game is not countable towards the totals for either the Bears or the Hoosiers.
