BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Gannon University, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), recently announced an agreement with Stretch Internet that will provide Golden Knights’ fans the opportunity to watch over 60 home events during the Fall and Winter sports seasons free of charge.
Two water polo events will be covered during the men’s season as Gannon’s home game versus crosstown rival Mercyhurst University on Friday, September 29, will be streamed at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
In addition, the Golden Knights will provide live coverage of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 14-15. Game times and matchups for the event pitting Mercyhurst, Gannon, Salem International University and first-year varsity program McKendree University are slated to be announced later this week.
The streaming effort is part of the PSAC Network powered by Stretch Internet which will broadcast each PSAC basketball game and all non-conference contests hosted by a PSAC school.

Stretch Internet is also the official streaming platform for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) as the organization is slated to provide coverage of the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Western Region Championship hosted by Mercyhurst at the David M. Hallman III Aquatics Center in Erie on Saturday-Sunday, November 4-5. In addition, the CWPA will broadcast the MAWPC Championship at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. and the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Championship at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday-Sunday, November 17-19. Additional games, including collegiate club contests, will also be broadcast by the CWPA during the course of the 2017-18 academic year.
