BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Michigan adds seven freshmen to its women’s water polo team for the 2021 season.
Joining the Maize & Blue in 2021 are:
- Libby Alsemgeest (C, Hamilton, New Zealand/St. Cuthbert’s College)
- Lola Ciruli (AT, Lafayette, Calif./Campolindo)
- Alison Lock (AT Superior Township, Mich./Skyline)
- Sammi Monroe (AT, Pleasant Hill, Calif./College Park)
- Kasey Umlauf (C/UT, Northfield, Ill./New Trier Township)
- Kata Utassy (AT, Budapest, Hungary/Konyves Kalman Secondary School)
- Elise Walker (C, Los Altos, Calif./St. Francis)
In addition, sophomore Sara Stipanov (AT, Arroyo Grande, Calif./Arroyo Grande) along with graduate student Emily Byrne (UT, Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) are slated to compete with Michigan in 2021.
