BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of Central Florida’s Casey Murphy (Sr., St. Louis, Mo./Lafayette) contributed 13 goals, four assists and six steals during a 3-1 weekend for the Knights during the opening weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club Southeast Division competition at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. For her performance, Murphy is named the February 9 Women’s Collegiate Club Southeast Division Player of the Week.
She accounted for four and three goals against the University of Florida “B” (12-5 W) and Florida Atlantic University (12-2 W) on Saturday, February 7, prior to posting trios facing the University of Florida “A” (13-6 L) and Florida State University “B” (10-4 W) on Sunday, February 8.
