BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Cecile Whittle (Sr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) of Division III No. 3-ranked Washington University in St. Louis contributed 10 goals, six assists, seven steals and a save during a 2-2 weekend hosted by Grand Valley State University at Hudsonville High School in Hudsonville, Mich., to earn the February 23 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Player of the Week award.
On Saturday, February 21, she scored once versus both the University of Notre Dame (13-8 L) and Grand Valley State University (18-7 L) prior to cashing in on four shots facing Illinois State University (14-6 W). Whittle closed out the weekend with four goals during an 18-3 victory over Miami University (Ohio) on Sunday, February 22.
