BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jayden Kratt (Sr., Palo Alto, Calif./Henry M. Gunn) of Division III No. 6-ranked Macalester College posted 39 saves in three games as the Scots finished at Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III-West Region weekend at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., with a 3-1 mark. For her performance in cage, Kratt claims status as the March 16 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Defensive Player of the Week.
She opened the weekend on Saturday, March 14, by turning aside 12 shots in an 8-7 defeat of the host/Division III No. 10 Firebirds prior to making seven saves in a 7-5 loss to defending CWPA Division III Champion/Division III No. 5 Augustana College.
In the weekend finales on Sunday, March 15, she did not appear in a 12-10 management of Grove City College before returning to the water to rack-up 20 saves as the Scots overcame Division III No. 10 Austin College, 15-14.
