BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Former Indiana University goalkeeper Jessica Gaudreault was named to the Canada Senior Women’s National Team that will compete at the World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 (Division 2), held on Monday-Sunday, April 20–26, in Malta.

The preliminary phase of the competition for the Canadian Women will include the following games: 

  • April 212026 vs. Germany at Noon Eastern
  • April 222026 vs. Brazil at 4:30 a.m. Eastern
  • April 232026 vs. Portugal at 3:00 a.m. Eastern

A 2024 Olympian and a 2019 Indiana graduate, Gaudreault competed at an elite international level, including multiple World Championships and Pan Am games for Team Canada.  

The Canadian had a decorated career with the Hoosiers, graduating with the second-most saves (995) and shots faced (2,182) in program history. Gaudreault was an honorable mention ACWPC All-America as a senior as well as a four-time Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) All-Conference First Team member.
