BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Aaron Tarr (Jr., Durban, South Africa/Westville Boys) of the Mount St. Mary’s University men’s water polo team received the 2026 Kolon Male Athlete of the Year award at the institution’s 2026/Third Annual Emmit Awards.
A 2025 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America Honorable Mention selection, the two-time All-Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) selection (2024 – Honorable Mention; 2025 – Second Team) and two-time MAWPC Championship All-Tournament honoree (2024 – Honorable Mention; 2025 – Second Team) scored 83 times with 84 assists, 54 steals, 60 drawn exclusions and 30 field blocks in 2025 to help the Mountaineers to an 11-23 record and a sixth place finish at the MAWPC Championship hosted by Fordham University..
Over hits three year tenure in Emmitsburg, Md., he has 218 goals, 205 assists, 423 points, 149 ejections drawn and 61 field blocks.
