BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Week 9/November 5 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.
2026 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 8)
Change is once again abundant in the 2026 Week 9/November 5 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll as only two of the ranked teams retain their positions from the Week 8/October 29 voting.
California Polytechnic State University (96 points) and San Diego State University (95 points) both move up one position to take over at No. 1 and 2, while previously top-billed California State University-Chico (92 points) drops back to No. 3.
The University of California-Los Angeles (79 points) remains at No. 4 with the University of California-San Diego (78 points), the University of California (74 points), Texas A&M University (64 points), the University of California-Davis (62 points), Indiana University (60 points) and Florida International University (54 points) rearranging to complete the Top 10.
The University of Oregon (43 points), Long Beach State University (37 points), the University of Pittsburgh (36 points), the University of Texas (25 points) and Yale University (24 points) stand at No. 11-to-16 prior to the University of Notre Dame (23 points), the University of Utah (21 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (19 points) and the University of Alabama (15 points) rounding out the Top 20.

2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 9)
The University of California-Santa Cruz remains at No. 1 in Division III as the Banana Slugs top the 2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 9/November 5 Poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (97 points) holds off Augustana College (96 points) as the Vikings move within a point of tying the Banana Slugs. New York University (90 points) retains the No. 3 spot before the University of Chicago (81 points) and Bowdoin College (73 points) rearrange to rate at No. 4 and 5.
The United States Coast Guard Academy (70 points) slips to No. 6 and Carleton College (69 points) cracks the Top 10 at No. 7, while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) (62 points), Washington University in St. Louis (61 points) and Macalester College (33 points) complete the Top 10.
