BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Austin College released the school’s 2026 women’s water polo schedule of games.
The ‘Roos will commence the season on the West Coast as Austin faces Concordia University (2:00 p.m.) and host California State University-Northridge (4:00 p.m.) on Friday, February 6, prior to competing in away games at the California Institute of Technology (10:00 a.m.) and Chapman University (2:30 p.m.) on Sunday, February 7.
A month-long break from competition follows until Austin takes part in the Convergence Invitational on Friday-Saturday, March 6-7, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and the other Claremont institutions.
Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III competition starts the following weekend in Kenosha, Wis., at Carthage College as the ‘Roos face Grove City College (11:30 am.) and Augustana College (6:30 p.m.) on Saturday, March 14, prior to meeting the host Firebirds (9:30 a.m.) and Macalester College (1:30 p.m.) on Sunday, March 15.
The regular season comes to a close on Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, during a league crossover event at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pa., as Austin battles Penn State Behrend (10:20 a.m.) and the host Presidents (3:40 p.m.) on March 28 before closing out the docket against Wheaton College (Mass.) (8:00 a.m.) and Connecticut College (1:00 p.m.) on March 29.
The CWPA Division III Championship will occur in Norton, Mass., as Wheaton hosts the 15-game weekend on Friday-Sunday, April 10-12.
The champion and runner-up from the CWPA Division III Championship earn spots in the four-time USA Water Polo Division III Collegiate Championship hosted by either the champion or runner-up from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) on Saturday-Sunday, April 25-26.
