BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Elizabeth “Allie” Paulson-Houser (Fr., Bainbridge Island, Wash./Bainbridge) of Division III No. 7-ranked Bowdoin College posted three goals during the combined Colonial/North Atlantic Division Championship at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vt., to earn laurels as the October 19 Men’s Collegiate Club North Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
Following a 14-2 defeat of Division III No. 8 Wesleyan University of the Colonial Division, Paulson-Houser scored twice in a 9-7 loss to eventual Colonial Division Champion the University of Massachusetts prior to notching a marker in an 11-7 defeat of fellow North Atlantic Division institution the University of Vermont.
The victory over Vermont helped secure Third Place at the combined championship for the Polar Bears and locked up the North Atlantic Division crown for Bowdoin as the division’s highest finishing team at the event.
