BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Boati Motau (Jr., Johannesburg, South Africa/Roedean School South Africa) of Bucknell University was selected to her homeland’s roster for the upcoming 2024 World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo Championship on February 2-18 in Doha, Qatar.

A member of South Africa’s squad at the 2020/2021 Olympics in Tokyo, Motai is coming off her second season in Lewisburg, Pa. As a freshman in 2022, she scored 13 times and added 19 assists in 25 games. Last season, she added 30 goals to raise her career scoring total to 43 markers.
