BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — On National Donut Day – celebrated on June 5 – the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) looks back at when Olympian Wolf Wigo demonstrated two different options for shooting over the goalie’s head and the best time for taking a donut shot as part of the KAP7 Tip of the Week series.
Now in its 13th year of existence since the first video was released on February 4, 2013, the KAP7 Tip of the Week series features instruction on basic skills (egg-beater, passing, goalie technique) and more advanced skills and tricks to help players raise their game to another level.
