2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association releases the 2018 Women’s Collegiate Club Midwest Division schedule.
Comprised of the University of Cincinnati, Grand Valley State University, Illinois State University, Lindenwood University, Miami University (Ohio), the University of Notre Dame, Saint Louis University, Washington University in St. Louis and Wittenberg University, the division will feature 36 countable games along with four exhibition contests versus Calvin College.
Action commences on Saturday-Sunday, February 3-4, at Grand Valley State in Hudsonville, Mich., with 14 games, including a quartet of exhibition clashes for Illinois State, Cincinnati, Notre Dame and Lindenwood versus Calvin College. Following a 10-game tournament at Wittenberg in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday-Sunday, February 24-25, the regular season comes to a close with a 16-game event hosted by Lindenwood in St. Peters, Mo., on Saturday-Sunday, April 7-8.
The regular season competition will establish the seeds for the 15-game Midwest Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 21-22, at Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind., with the division victor advancing to the 2018 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of Washington at the Mt. Hood Community College Aquatics Center in Gresham, Ore., on Friday-Sunday, May 4-6.
