2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Colonial Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2019 Men’s Collegiate Club Colonial Division schedule.

Comprised of Amherst College, Middlebury College, the United States Coast Guard Academy, the University of Massachusetts, Wesleyan University, Williams College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the Colonial Division will contest its fifth season in 2019 following victories by Williams (2015), Wesleyan (2016), Amherst (2017) and Coast Guard (2018).

Regular season competition will be contested at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., on Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15 (14 games) and Wesleyan in Middletown, Conn., on Saturday-Sunday, September 28-29, (14 games) to establish the seeds for the 11-game Colonial Division Championship tournament on Saturday-Sunday, October 19-20, at Middlebury in Middlebury, Vt.

The victor of the division – except for Massachusetts which is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I institution – advances to the Men’s Division III Collegiate Club Championship slated for Saturday-Sunday, October 26-27, at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. If Massachusetts wins the division, the runner-up from the Colonial Division will advance to the Division III Club Championship.  Due to scheduling, the possibility of the Division III Club Championship moving to Saturday-Sunday, November 2-3, and/or another institution remains on the table as teams should check with the league office in September regarding a finalized date and site.
