BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Defending National Champion the University of Florida gains company at No. 1 in the National Top 20 as California Polytechnic State University ties the Gators for the top spot, while Hartwick College continues to lead the Division III Top 10 in the Week 3/February 20 Women’s Collegiate Club Polls.

2020 Women’s Club National Top 20 (Week 3)

The defending National Champion Gators of the University of Florida, who were tied with 2019 National Championship runner-up/preseason favorite the University of California-Davis for the top spot in the Week 1/February 6 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll prior to acquiring sole custody of the No. 1 spot in the Week 2/February 13 voting, is once again tied as California Polytechnic State University joins the Gators in the lead spot of the Week 3/February 20 poll.

Cal Poly (96 points), which stood at No. 2 last week, pulls even with Florida (96 points) as the landscape of the women’s collegiate club scene continues to shift following season-opening competition.

The University of Michigan (87 points) and San Diego State University (81 points) both both move up one place to take over at No. 3 and 4, respectively, with Fresno State University rising six spots to assume the No. 5 position.

The University of California-Santa Barbara (78 points), Lindenwood University (67 points) and the University of Washington (59 points) each improve one position by moving up to No. 6-to-8, while the University of California-Los Angeles (54 points) and the University of California (54 points) complete the Top 10 by tying for the final position in the upper echelon of the Week 3 balloting.

The University of California-Davis (47 points) slips to No. 11 with the University of California-San Diego (46 points) remaining at No. 12 for another week.

Grand Valley State University (44 points), Hartwick College (40 points), Boston College (37 points), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (23 points), the University of Oregon (17 points), Pennsylvania State University (14 points), Texas A&M University (10 points) and Michigan State University (8 points) finish out the Top 20 at No. 13-to-20.

2020 Women’s Club Division III National Top 10 (Week 3)

Hartwick College remains at No. 1 in the Week 3/February 20 Women’s Division III Collegiate Club Top 10 Poll.

Changes are not plentiful in the Division III ranks as Hartwick (98 points), defending Division III Collegiate Club Champion Middlebury College (90 points) stay at No. 1 and 2.  Washington University in St. Louis (86 points) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (86 points) enter a tie at No. 3 with the University of California-Santa Cruz (83 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (73 points) staying at No. 5 and 6 for another seven-day stretch.

New York University (69 points) surpasses Grinnell College (67 points) to take over at No. 7. 

Tufts University (64 points) and Carleton College (46 points) complete the Top 10 by continuing in the final two positions.
