Comprised of Florida Atlantic University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida International University, Florida State University “A”, Florida State University “B”, the University of Central Florida, the University of Florida “A”, the University of Florida “B”, the University of Miami and the University of South Florida, the Florida Division will contest its 16th season as part of the CWPA in 2021.  In the history of the division, Florida (2002, 2003, 2008, 2011, 2017, 2018, 2019), Florida International (2007, 2009), Miami (2010, 2012, 2013) and Florida State (2014, 2015, 2016) have combined to claim the previous 15 crowns.  The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 season will be unique for the Florida Division as the group will crossover with the Southeast Division for “A” and “B” Championships to determine the final order of standing.

Competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, September 25-26, at Central Florida in Orlando, Fla., as 20 games will occur to open the Florida Division docket.

A pair of tournaments on Saturday-Sunday, October 16-17, will conclude the Florida Division regular season slate as Central Florida hosts Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Miami and South Florida for 10 games, while Florida Atlantic, Florida State “A” and Florida State “B” travel to Gainesville, Fla., to battle Florida “A” and Florida “B” in another 10-game event.

The trio of regular season tournaments will establish the seeds for the Florida Division as the No. 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 seeds take on the No. 5 and 6 seeds from the Southeast Division in a 12-game “B” Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 23-24, at Florida in Gainesville.

A week later, the No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 regular season finishers from the Florida Division along with the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 finishers from the Southeast Division head to Tallahassee, Fla., for a 12-game “A” Championship at Florida State.

The top finishing Florida and Southeast Division teams earn their group’s automatics berth to the 2021 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship slated to be hosted by the University of Alabama at the Huntsville Aquatic Center in Huntsville, Ala., on Friday-Sunday, November 12-14.   Alabama is guaranteed a position in the National Collegiate Club Championship field as the second finishing Southeast Division will punch its ticket to the championship if the Crimson Tide are the highest finishing Southeast team at the Florida/Southeast “A” Championship.
