BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2021 Week 9/November 18/Final Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2021 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 9/November 18/Final)
Michigan State University – which claimed the 2021 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship with a 12-11 victory over the University of California-San Diego on November 14 at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Alabama – concludes the year at No. 1 as the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2021 Week 9/November 18/Final Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 rankings.
Michigan State (100 points) is a unanimous top selection, while UC-San Diego (92 points) – which was ranked at No. 1 prior to falling to the then No. 2 Spartans – slips to No. 2. Washington University in St. Louis (90 points) – which wraps-up the year at No. 1 in the Division III rankings and was previously unranked in the Top 20 – comes in at No. 3 with the University of California (88 points) and San Diego State University (80 points) rating at No. 4 and 5, respectively.
The University of Southern California (75 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (66 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (64 points), McKendree University (59 points) and California State Maritime Academy (53 points) round out the Top 10 at No. 6-to-10.
The University of Colorado (48 points), California Polytechnic State University (45 points), the University of Texas (39 points), the University of Pennsylvania (37 points) and Florida State University (29 points) finish the 2021 season at No. 11-to-15, while the University of Michigan (27 points), Cornell University (14 points), the University of Utah (11 points), the United States Naval Academy (9 points) and Boston College (6 points) complete the final Top 20 poll.

2021 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 9/November 18/Final)
Seven-time defending Division III Collegiate Club National Champion Washington University in St. Louis completes the year in the upper echelon of the National Top 20 rankings and as the No. 1 team in Division II as the Bears are once again the unanimous No. 1 selection in the 2021 Week 9/November 18/Final Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Poll.
The 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Division III Collegiate Club Champion, Washington in St. Louis (100 points) concludes the year as a unanimous top selection as the Division III rankings experience no changes from the Week 7 and 8 balloting.
The 2021 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club Championship Men’s Division III Collegiate Club Championship was canceled due to a lack of pool availability on a Division III campus or in the community surrounding a campus.
