2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division schedule.
Comprised of California State University-Chico, California State University-Monterey Bay, California State Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime), San Jose State University, Stanford University, the University of California, the University of California-Davis and the University of California-Santa Cruz, the Sierra Pacific Division will contest its 12th season in the CWPA with UC-Santa Cruz (2011), California (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022) and Cal Maritime (2019) combining to claim all 11 previous championship titles. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
All competition during the two-week season will occur at Cal Maritime in Vallejo, Calif., with a 16-game regular season tournament on Saturday-Sunday, October 7-8, prior to the 12-game division championship tournament on Saturday-Sunday, October 14-15.
The victor of the division championship earns an automatic berth to the 2023 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship hosted by the University of Utah at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center in Kearns, Utah, on Friday-Sunday, November 10-12.
