BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2023 Week 8/March 30 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
2023 Women’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 8/March 30)
The University of Michigan, defending Women’s National Collegiate Club Champion the University of California and the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) move into a three-way tie at No. 1 in the 2023 Week 8/March 30 Women’s Collegiate Club Top 20 Poll.
Michigan (95 points) and California (95 points) – which were previously tied at No. 1 – gain company from UCLA (95 points) as the question of which team rules women’s collegiate club water polo continues to be unanswered. Texas A&M University (81 points) and Arizona State University (80 points) climb to No. 4 and 5, respectively, while the University of California-Santa Barbara (74 points) and the University of California-San Diego (73 points) drop back to No. 6 and 7.
San Diego State University (60 points), California Polytechnic State University (59 points) and the University of Notre Dame (58 points) complete the Top 10.
Boston University (54 points), Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) (38 points), the University of Central Florida (35 points), the University of Florida (29 points) and the University of California-Davis (25 points) rate at No. 11-to-15.
The University of Washington (21 points), the University of Utah (20 points), Florida State University (16 points), the University of California-Santa Cruz (14 points) and West Chester University (6 points) complete the Top 20.

2023 Women’s Collegiate Club Division III National Top 10 (Week 8/March 30)
Washington University in St. Louis stays at No. 1 in the 2023 Week 8/March 30 Division III Top 10 poll.
The poll remains relatively unchanged from last week’s rankings as the Bears (99 points) and Tufts University (93 points) remain steady at No. 1 and 2. The University of California-Santa Cruz (88 points) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (88 points) move into a tie at No. 3 with Middlebury College (80 points) sticking at No. 5 for another seven day run.
Grinnell College (71 points) and Colby College (71 points) are tied at No. 6 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (64 points), Carleton College (61 points) and Saint Olaf College (34 points) rounding out the Top 10.
