2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division Schedule

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2026 Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division schedule.

The regular season and championship formats experience radical changes as the Texas Division expands to 11 teams as the University of Houston joins Baylor University, Louisiana State University, Rice University, Texas A&M University “A”, Texas A&M University “B”, Texas State University, Texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas “A” and the University of Texas “B”.

2026 marks the 25th season of Texas Division competition with Baylor (2023), Texas A&M (2001, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2016, 2024, 2025), Texas (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022) and Texas Tech (2011) combining to capture all the previous titles. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the addition of Houston, the regular season schedule expands to three tournaments as Texas Tech will host 12 games on Saturday-Sunday, September 19-20, and 14 contests on Saturday-Sunday, October 3-4, in Lubbock, Texas, to bookend an 18-game weekend on Saturday-Sunday, September 26-27, at Rice in Houston, Texas.

The games on September 26-27 at Rice will utilize six-minute quarters with no overtime and each team limited to one timeout per half. 

Houston’s addition also impacts the Texas Division Championship at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, on Saturday-Sunday, October 31-November 1, as the event’s format expands to 11-teams and 16-games.  The championship determines the Texas Division’s representative for the 2026 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 6-8, at the Huntsville Aquatics Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
