2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Missouri Valley Division schedule.
Comprised of Illinois State University, Iowa State University, the University of Missouri and newcomer Washington University in St. Louis, the Missouri Valley Division will contest its 21st season with Western Illinois University (2004), Lindenwood University (2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), Miami University (Ohio) (2007), Saint Louis University (2011), McKendree University (2021, 2022, 2023) and Iowa State (2024) each previously capturing the division championship. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regular season competition begins on Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21, at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa, as the four teams clash in an eight-game weekend. Due to time constraints, games on Sunday, September 21, will use five-minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts permitted.
The teams return to Ames, Iowa, for eight games on Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5. Due to time constraints, contests on Saturday, October 4, will utilize five-minute quarters with neither overtime nor timeouts, while action on Sunday, October 5 will use regulation collegiate club rules (seven minute quarters, etc.).
The regular season comes to a close on the same weekend as the Missouri Valley Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, at Washington in St. Louis, Mo. The host Bears will face Iowa State and Illinois State will take on Missouri on Saturday, October 25, in the final regular season games prior to No. 1-vs.-No. 4 seed and No. 2-vs.-No. 3 seed semifinal contests taking place later the same day. First, Second, Third and Fourth Place will be decided on Sunday, October 26, with the victor of the division claiming the group’s automatic bid to the Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9, at a site to be determined.
