BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Week 2/September 25 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.
2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 1/September 18)
California Polytechnic State University (93 points) and Michigan State University (93 points) move up to stand in a tie at No. 1 in the 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Week 2/September 25 Poll
California Maritime Academy (87 points), the University of California (84 points), the University of California-San Diego (83 points), the University of California-Los Angeles (72 points), previously unranked Cornell University (59 points), San Diego State University (58 points), the University of California-Santa Barbara (57 points) and the University of California-Davis (52 points) complete the Top 10.
The University of Florida (47 points) and the University of Virginia (45 points) stand at No. 11 and 12, while previously unranked the United States Naval Academy (43 points) and the University of Utah (29 points) take over at No. 13 and 14.
Boston University (23 points) drops to No. 15, while the University of Oregon (22 points), the University of Colorado (19 points), the University of Michigan (18 points),Texas A&M University (17 points) and previously unranked the University of Pittsburgh (14 points) conclude the Week 2 Top 20.

2025 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 2/September 25)
The University of California-Santa Cruz and the United States Coast Guard Academy move into a tie at No. 1 in the Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 2/September 25 Poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (94 points) moves up one place, while Coast Guard (94 points) ascends from No. 5, as the Banana Slugs and Bears dislodge Washington University in St. Louis from the top spot. UC-Santa Cruz – which holds prior Division III National Collegiate Club Championships – returns to the lead position in the rankings, while Coast rises to No. 1 in the nation for the first time in program history.
Middlebury College (93 points) jumps from No. 10 to No. 3 as the Panthers fall one point shy of rating as the equals of UC-Santa Cruz and Coast Guard.
Tufts University (86 points) slips one place to No. 4, while the quintet of Washington (73 points), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (73 points), Augustana College (73 points) and New York University (73 points) are tied at No. 5.
Bowdoin College (47 points) and Carnegie Mellon University (47 points) complete the Top 10 in a tie at No. 9.
