BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases the 2026 Week 6//October 15 Men’s Collegiate Club Top 20 and Division III Top 10 Polls.
Released each week during the season, the Top 20 and Division III Top 10 polls have no bearing on qualifiers for the National Collegiate Club Championship.
2026 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 (Week 6)
The University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) and San Diego State University continue to share the No. 1 position as the Bruins and Aztecs lead the 2026 Week 6/October 15 Men’s Collegiate Club National Top 20 Poll.
UCLA (91 points) and San Diego State (91 points) top a National Top 20 which experiences significant shifts for the second time in as many week with only four teams retaining their prior rankings from the Week 5/October 8 voting.
The first three positions remain consistent as UCLA and San Diego State are followed by Long Beach State University (87 points) which retains the No. 3 slot.
From there, the rankings experience radical adjustments with Texas A&M University (86 points), California State University-Chico (82 points) and California Polytechnic State University (73 points) escalating to No. 4-to-6, while the University of California-San Diego (71 points), the University of California (63 points), the University of Texas (59 points) and the University of Colorado (49 points) realign to rate at No. 7-to-10.
The University of Pittsburgh (46 points) stays at No. 11 prior to Yale University (44 points), Cornell University (39 points) and previously unranked the University of Washington (35 points) taking over at No. 12-to-14.
Florida State University (23 points) and Florida International University (23 points) are tied at No. 15 before the University of Alabama (20 points) and Ohio State University (17 points) elevate to No. 17 and 18.
Michigan State University (13 points) comes in at No. 19 before previously unranked the United States Naval Academy (11 points) and the University of Virginia (11 points) round out the Top 20 with a tie for the final position.

2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 (Week 6)
The University of California-Santa Cruz returns to standing alone at No. 1 in Division III as the Banana Slugs top the 2026 Men’s Division III Collegiate Club National Top 10 Week 6/October 15 Poll.
UC-Santa Cruz (97 points) – which was tied with Augustana College at No. 1 last week – breaks away from the Vikings as Augustana (93 points) falls back to No. 2. Washington University in St. Louis (84 points) rises to No. 3 with the United States Coast Guard Academy (81 points), Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) (77 points) and New York University (76 points) backing up to rate at No. 4-to-6.
Bowdoin College (75 points), Carleton College (50 points), Wesleyan University (50 points) and Tufts University (48 points) complete the Top 10.
