2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Big Ten Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases a reorganized 2025 Men’s Collegiate Club Big Ten Division schedule.following the University of Wisconsin‘s decision to not compete this year.
Now comprised of Indiana University, Michigan State University “A”, Michigan State University “B”, Purdue University, The Ohio State University, the University of Illinois, the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan, the Big Ten Division will contest its 15th season in the CWPA. Historically, Michigan State (2010, 2014, 2019, 2021, 2023), Michigan (2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2024) and Indiana (2013) have all previously claimed the division crown since the group elected to join the league prior to the 2010 season. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21, weekend at Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, experiences significant adjustments as nine games will occur on September 20 prior to seven contests on September 21. The games on Sunday, September 21, will utilize five-minute quarters with neither timeouts nor overtime.
The schedule at Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., on Saturday-Sunday, September 27-28, remains consistent with the previously released version of August 29. However, the Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5, docket of games at Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, is adjusted due to the absence of Wisconsin as six clashes will now occur to close out the regular season slate.
The Big Ten Division Championship at Huron High School (2727 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Mich.) on Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, changes to an eight team event with the division champion claiming a berth at the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship on Friday-Sunday, November 7-9, at a site to be determined.
