2022 Men’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Schedule
BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) releases an updated 2022 Men’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division schedule.
Comprised of Georgetown University, James Madison University, the United States Naval Academy and the University of Maryland in the Northern Region, along with North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, the University of Virginia and Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) in the Southern Region, the Atlantic Division will contest its 22nd season of competition with the University of Richmond (2000), Georgetown (2001, 2002, 2005), Virginia (2003, 2021), North Carolina-Chapel Hill (2004, 2010, 2011, 2012), Virginia Tech (2006, 2007, 2009, 2017), Duke University (2008, 2014, 2016), Maryland (2013, 2015) and Navy (2018, 2019) previously claiming titles. The 2020 season was not contested due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The change in the schedule occurs on October 8-9 at James Madison is Harrisonburg, Va., as Georgetown University is unable to compete on the revised competition date. Due to this fact, James Madison, Navy and Maryland will play a double round-robin slate with the teams each meeting during a six-game docket.
